I believe they were hovering around 20% from 3 most of the game. Maybe 40% or less FG%. Sounded like women’s basketball with all the misses.
Funny thing is I was saying Emmitt and smart need to do something with about 10 mins left. Bc those guys canbe difference makers when our starters are struggling. Emmtt hits the free throw and smart hits 2 huge threes. Smart is gonna be all sec and dominant but he's accepted his secondary role like a champ. And Emmitt is a physical force on offensive rebounding. Talent wins out most of the time and will Wade has a shit load. This team is gonna be legit if they're not already.
Whai I want to see is how good are they going to be in March. Joe Lynardi of bracketology.com projects us as a #4 seed as of last week. Last night could be just what this team needs, a wakeup call without incurring the loss.
Those nights will happen on the sec road. We'll incur losses but they responded at least. That was nice to see. I saw a 3 seed today.
I don’t care what seed we are, talent out the ass and WW is getting it to mesh. I don’t think we’re going to be outclassed unless it’s something like okie state or mizzou where we’re in a funk. If one guy is down another steps up. If WW can harness this tiger he has by the tail, might give a lot of good coaches the ol in and out.
@A&M 8PM CST tonight on ESPN2; this is another Q2 game. Good opportunity to get a solid win on the road, heard LSU is -5.5, I think we cover and look much better than we did against Missouri. Current 2-2 Q1, 5-1 Q2, 6-0 Q3, 3-0 Q4.
