Waters on the bench 2h and Smart nowhere to be found late despite shredding their guards to the bucket. Wade has to manage this game better. We have no inside game on offense. So in a half court set Reid is still 10 ft from the basket and forces a shitty shot because he doesn't know how to post or use his size down low. He's a guard in shaqs body. We were out rebounded 55-38. Wade needs to do what I said and sit Reid. Put a defensive presence in bigby protecting the rim let the guards do the work. Williams and Taylor can create at the 4 and are much more dynamic defensively. Reid can come in and shoot 3s if needed. We pissed this one away which is gonna suck come selection Sunday.
Agree completely. Pissed that one away. Team looked disheveled after taking a 15 point lead. Waters is way too talented to not start. Just need to get smarter and have a game plan to utilize the talent on this team.
I heard the morning show compliment Reid this AM; I was like WTF? Will Wade needs to get this team playing together. Offense was horrid last night. I believe this was our third Q1 game (I haven’t delved into NET rankings yet); we are winless in Q1 and Q2 games, if I remember correctly. St Mary’s is currently showing as a Q2 game. Need to find a win in Vegas.
