Jesus was not speaking against punishment. He was speaking against hypocrisy. He even said that the any dude with no sins was free to stone the adulterer. Jesus taught us to forgive of sinners. He did not teach us to condone sin. Jesus said no such thing. He spoke out against was hypocritical judgment, not judgment in general. Following your analogy no Christian could ever be a juror or a judge. Christians should always judge their own actions and those of others, an should always speak out against actions that are immoral. What is wrong is condemning people. As a Christian I will always say prostitution is wrong. What I will never do is pretend to know the fate of a prostitute because I don't know her situation or the reasons she is slangin vag. All that being said, laws that legislate morality are almost always wrong.
The bible says to keep his commandments but also says to obey the law of the land. Prostitution is still illegal I believe. You are assuming she was a prostitute, this is one of my pet peas. I hate it when people assume because assumptions are inaccurate. I haven't condemned anyone for prostitution so I don't guess you are talking to me. It have condemned it in general because just like porn, prostitution ruins lives. There is no doubt that it may be good for some but I believe its bad for many. BTW I say to each his own, I really don't want to infringe on anyone Else's rights as long as you don't interfere with mine. I honestly don't believe its good for anyone btw but if it keeps someone from doing something worse then maybe its not quite as bad?
We know where he stands on the issue. And I'm sure we'll find about some others shortly, as phone numbers were posted on her website yesterday.
I use to work with this guy who was about 5'5" tall and about 5'5" thick. He wore thick glasses and his name was Pierre. He is probably early 40's, single, and living with his mother. As you can tell, he is deeply paved with bad luck getting girls. BUT, because he is single, he has a nice bank account. He took a 10 day vacation to the Lake Tahoe area. He went to an escort service and ordered him up 2 of the finest sex machines money can buy. They stayed every night, and fulfilled almost every wet dream he ever imagined. That being said. What makes what he did wrong? It was consentual and perfectly legal (in that area). Now what if this man stayed a virgin and his manhood consistently raged him into doing something postal? Like finding a street girl and beating her to a pulp. I say legalize it and have these prostitutes in businesses that offer that service. Hell, at least they would be taxed just like all of us are. ...only downfall I guess would be that the divorce rate would sky rocket JMO
I'd disagree with that theory only because it's operating under the assumption that the only thing keeping a man from cheating of his wife is an easily bypassed law.
