In the words of George Carlin "Selling is legal. Phucking is legal. So why isn't selling phucking legal? Why is it illegal to sell something that's perfectly legal to give away?"
Just look at where their money comes from and how they vote. They have been high priced prostitutes for a long long time.
Very good question. You can give it away a thousand times a day and no problem, sell it once and it's cuff and stuff, go figure.
:rofl::rofl: Indeed. I'm pretty anti-prostitution, but like most morality issues, it's probably best to accept that it's going to happen and make the best of it.
This an entirely sensible suggestion. [note to self: check NASDAQ for opportunities when this happens]
why would you be anti-prostitution? throw out the slavery/human trafficking angle, we all agree about that. what is wrong with adults engaging in prostitution? of course you think it is degrading, but tirk made a good point, that what is degrading is in the eye of the beholder. also i think red made a point that often the people who you think are ruining their lives with prostitution are actually ruining their lives with drugs. sure, prostitutes might be sad people with problems, but i dunno if that is because they are prostitutes. i bet they were pretty sad before they started. i am sure there are hookers out there (especially in other countries) that are totally beyond any hangups or childish morality problems regarding sex. for them they are working just like anyone else. i dont see the flaw in their logic.
What's the difference between a hooker on a street corner, other than being illegal and what many women do, like Anna Nicole Smith, sleeping with a man strictly for his money. She like many many women were paid for sex, just not directly. It happens millions of times every day and is perfectly legal. We are not talking about morality that's a different subject, but why is one legal and the other not? In both situations the women are clearly being paid for sex and have made that decision of their own free will with a willing participant. It's hard to separate ones moral values from the discussion, but if you can it becomes clear one should not be legal if the other is not. JMO
I don't have a problem with hookers or strippers - I have never paid for sex personally, but I know people who have and I think nothing different of them. I have paid for more then my share of lapdances - and sometimes that money might have been better spent on a hooker. And I know people who would otherwise never get laid if it were not for hookers - I do not want to deprive them of their right for sexual fulfillment. People know what they are risking healthwise when they want to pay for sex...as long as they are willing to suffer the potential consequences of their actions then all power to them. the privates rule the world people....don't ever forget it.
Considering J Howard Marshall's advanced age and likely atrophied tool, I don't think Anna Nicole had to put out much if at all. Other women who have married for money are probably still doling out the sex on a limited basis, causing their wealthy husbands to engage........prostitutes. Funny how cyclical it is. While the comparison is interesting, there is a massive difference between marrying a rich man and having marital sex or even putting out if you're not married to them and a street prostitute who provides a multitude of services every night to several different men in back alleys, dirty hotel rooms, and car seats to earn a little cash.
No doubt. Porn star Asia Carrera has a master's degree (I forget the discipline), but makes more money and is happier having sex on camera. Good idea. Only the garbage pickup in my area is pretty much automated now. The cans have a metal handle on them and the trucks have an arm them. All the driver has to do is guide the arm to the handle, lift the can to the truck, then dump and release. also, its best to leave a malt liquor of some sort. dont be tapin no mich ultra light or your **** likely wont get picked up. they will take your beer though even though they dont like it. But your car battery will still be sitting there in your driveway.[/QUOTE]
