Since 1951 every AU coach has won 10 games except Barfield. The last 3 AU coaches won 11. I read that every UT coach since Neyland started;, what was that, 1926, has won at least 10 games. Every UGA coach since 1939 has won at least 10 games. Even Arkansas had a 10 win season while losing 4 games.
But...but....but...........we had the bear!!!!:bncry: :bncry: :bncry: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: The gumps have been living off of their history since Stallings bailed on them.
Dubose won the SEC in '99. 2000-2006 have sucked big time, I'll agree with you there. 2005 was sweet though. Especially that 31-3 win against Florida. If LSU hadn't have stunned No. 3 'Bama, We would have won the national title in 2005.
Yeah, I mean 10-2 teams that win bowl games have no place in the national rankings. And yes I admit it - LSU was a better team in 05. And in 06, obviously.
I knew that about Auburn, but didn't realize it started that soon with UT...knew that about UGA. Thanks for the info... FWIW, only two haven't since we had our first 10 game season, Whitworth and Price. Xen Scott was the first in 1920.
I appreciate the spirit of your post, but disagree with that notion, big time. The loss to LSU wasn't something that stunned me. Our problem with the OL was exposed during the Ole Miss game. LSU and Auburn simply reviewed the tape, coaching staff made great game plans, and they came after Brodie.
