Homeless woman w 15 children "Somebody needs to pay for all my children"

You must come down HARD on the dead beat dads. No tax returns. No ss benifits. Revolked driver's license. Make them do 24 hours of community service every weekend. The mother must specify the father at the time she applies for pre natal care. Make it a felony to purposly falsify a report stating who the father is. Any man that willingly avoids paying for their child is under home arrest, only being allowed out the house for work, until they comply with their child support. Make it so much of a hassle and so bad on the men that they won't have unpretected sex with a woman that isn't their wife for the fear of living under home arrest and working 12 hours a day picking up trash every weekend.

 

Those things suck…they scratch the tip of things that do not need to be scratched.

 

Oh…and there are constitutional issues with taking away ones right to have kids…been tried before and struck down. Trying to remember the case…maybe it was a sex offender case or something. Hmmm…..

i can agree with all of that.

which is why i keep asking the question. it is a hard question to really find an answer to. there is no real "good" solution if we dont want kids punished. unfortunately, in some form or another, they are the ones paying for someone's stupidity and greed.

 

My memory is foggy on it…seems to me that the case I’m thinking of was dealing with permanent and not a temporary thing.

Though if I’m not mistaking the Bar exam has tested a temp scenario and the answer has always been it is a constitutional no no.

 

This is not really the issue. The woman in the OP knows who the fathers are. In fact, one guy is the father for most of them.

This is just ridiculous. You see where they were living. You really think she went through having all of those kids so she could afford to live in a ****ty house with 15 mouths to feed? An extra $3k on your tax return doesn't pay for what it cost to raise a kid every year and you don't get to collect $3k for all 15 kids. Food stamps, housing, etc. don't nearly cover what it costs to raise that many kids.

To suggest that someone did that for money just doesn't make you look very smart.

 

She lives hand to mouth. Another kid gets her a little more from the gub'mint. Don't be naive. If there was no money to be had she wouldn't have had the kids. Also, she doesn't give a damn about pregnancy. The buck smells the doe in heat and it's on.
