So this summer I did a huge renovation and had both of my bathrooms redone. Converted one of my bathtubs into a walking shower with bench. It turned out great. I also repainted the dining room and kitchen. Well, the bathroom got a new paint job on the ceilings so I need to get the rest of the house done. So I decided to see if I could paint my hallway ceiling. I did it and did a pretty good job. Recognized the errors I made which will be corrected when the guys I have paint my living room walls and ceiling and hallway walls next month can fix So tonite, I get home and decided to paint the kitchen ceiling. I did it and it turned out great. I am pooped. LOL Dining room is up next.
I added a25x25 ft patio off our sunroom made out of pavers I cast. Made different size forms out of 2x4. Bought a cement mixer at harbor freight and mixed the hell out of some concrete a d stained it with iron ferrous sulfate fertilizer. Built a shelter for the hot tub and added a big fire pit. Put up a privacy fence around it and called it good.
Those people who are always doing home improvement projects put a lot of time and hard work into it. I suppose they get some sort of satisfaction out of it but if I want something like that done it makes more sense to find a way to make some extra money and pay a professional to to it.
