Well the ATMOSPHERE doesn't mean much if it doesn't translate into a definitive advantage for your team, moron.

The ATMOSPHERE doesn't make a bad team good. We've had some bad teams here in the past, as has Auburn. What the ATMOSPHERE does is take close games and turn them in our favor. The ATMOSPHERE can do nothing in a 58-3 blowout loss to Florida (when we had a shitty team) but the ATMOSPHERE can help a good Tiger team beat an awesome #1 ranked Florida game. And if you think that the ATMOSPHERE didn't factor into our victory over Georgia then you are an idiot.

This is the same AU fans who were all over the USC boards before AUG 30 talking up home field advantage. "How you gonna handle 90K screaming AU fans", "by the 2nd half your Trojans will not know what to do with the fans, the heat , and humidity...etc blah, blah, blah. F ing SEC embarassment. Now Home field advantage means nothing cause its in Tiger stadium. Go back to the AU board hillbilly!

    1. I didn't post on a USC board until after the game congratulating them on their win...the same thing I will do here if LSU wins this weekend.

    2. I don't take cues from you on what boards to read or post on, so deal with it.

    I heard a saying once...

There are lies, damn lies, and statistics...

Wary am I of those who use them, though I myself have been known to use them...

The various Auburn fans who have descended onto our site are just what the doctor ordered...They'll ensure a fired up crowd, and I'm happy that both these teams can now boast that they will play on Saturday the biggest game in the conference thus far this year since LSU/Georgia...

I'm happy Auburn is healthy going into this tilt. I'm also happy that LSU got its freshmen some good reps going into the game, and that Mauck played an excellent game, as well as our defense not giving up a single yard rushing...

This way, neither team has an excuse for losing.

Auburn fans, temper the arrogant tone, because you have no reason to be over here with any sense of condescension. You lost to teams that are obviously inferior to you. We did it once. You did it twice. The result is that you OBLITERATED your chances at a national title. We dealt ourselves what's most probably a death blow, but we still haven't screwed the pooch as royally as you have.

We welcome you here, but let's stick to talk about the actual game. What happened when Gaynell Tinsley, Shug Jordan, Vince Dooley, Bear Bryant, Pat Dye, and Terry Bowden were coaches means absolutely nothing. Not today. Not tomorrow. Definitely not Saturday. To be honest, it won't matter Sunday, either.

Check your egos at the door, and if you don't care for people telling you what to do or how to carry yourself, then stop and realize that you are a fan of an opposing school espousing an opinion that the vast majority do not identify with, nor agree with, nor really want to hear. To respond negatively in response to those who frequent this site and voice their displeasure is pure ignorance.

You know the score here. Knock the chip off your shoulder when you walk through the door. Honest, frank discussion, tinged with some smack will be tolerated. The crowing and condescension will elicit reactions you, nor any of us particularly care for.

Let's keep the discussion flowing, and not mire ourselves down in the doldroms of delerium that usually entail a fan vs. fan pissing contest, folks...

This is exactly what I was going to say. How can you really tell if there is an advantage when we were getting dominated at home and on the road? You also have to factor in that the usually we suck at day games. The UGA game this year was one of the few exceptions.

I'm not real sure why fans all over the SEC are constantly trying to challenge the image that Tiger stadium has. The hype was not created by us, it was created by the media and opposing fans.

"It's like Cajun Magic. Magic that can make a team's hopes disappear. Poof. This place is no Disney World"
    -The Montgomery Advisor

This is one of many quotes you can read at tigerstadium.com/quotes.

It doesn't really bother me that much when opposing fans attack Tigerstadium. Tigerstadium will continue to be what it is, hype or no hype, and that's fine with me.

That's a good point. When we're playing at Auburn you don't hear squat about Jordan-Hare.

The simple fact that they feel the need to attack Tiger Stadium speaks volumes for the atmosphere there. All I know is I'll be out there screaming my lungs out this Saturday. I know there will be 80,000+ LSU Tiger fans along with me.
