Typical dawg, licking his balls & playing with himself in the bushes.

We all remember how the last LSU/UGA game in the GA dome turned out:hihi: LSU! :crystal:

GA hasn't the ammo to make a run this year, all dawg ball licking aside. Just a quick look at UGA personnel & you can see it's a reloading year for UGA. No chance unless several key (fluke) injuries occur to TN/FLA!:dis: It's a Tennessee runaway train in the East, FLA second & UGA will do "well" to take home a Turd, ahem, I mean finish third  and beat Auburn.

    Reloading what?

The entire OL is back, and with Dennis Roland healthy, it has been ranked in the top 5 in the country.
The entire backfield is back. Brown, Lumpkin and Ware will set up in a modified pro-set split backfield.

Everyone on defense has had extensive playing experience.
Shockley is the only question mark. He has only thrown for 10 TDs.
Richt has said that this team has the most talent that he has had at Georgia.

But we will see for ourselves on October 8th, when Georgia goes up to Knoxville after having two weeks off.

Did he really? Do you believe that? The 2004 Georgia team was pretty talented, as was the 2003 team. Most folks believe there is significant drop-off this year with a new quarterback. LSU found that out last year.

Having said that, I still think Gergia is capable of contending for the East with Tennessee and Florida. It just doesn't look like the kind of dominating year that Georgia fans have seen recently.

I believe it because of the defense. There is no talent drop off on defense.
The only drop off on offense is at QB, and Shockley may end up running much more because he has 4.55 speed.

Will Thompson is back from injury at DE. Quentin Moses is back at DE.
Tony Taylor is back from injury at LB. He would have started last year.
Kedric Golson and Darrius Swain are back at DT. Jeff Owens, a freshman who just benched 500lbs, has a 34" vertical leap, and runs a 4.8, will also play at DT.
Three of the four in the backfield are returning, and will be supplemented by Kelin Johnson who is estimated as a potential all-american.

But the speculation is just that, speculation. I would rather be sitting in Richt's shoes than in Meyer's shoes.

The only way Florida wins the East is by outscoring everyone. I just don't see that as being a safe bet going up against the UT, LSU, Alabama and Georgia defenses. Meanwhile, the Florida defense is very suspect.

I will bet that the UT-Georgia game on October 8th will probably decide the SEC East.

It sure wouldn't hurt to see LSU knock down both Florida and Tennessee in Baton Rouge.

 What a GA homer!!! Nevermind, his team has a 1-dimensional offensive attack & a new QB (Run Richt Run, See Richt Run, Watch teams stack the line against Richt). Yeah, GA's in the hunt until the Tennessee game because they play a soft schedule. :hihi: Tennessee will expose the GA offense for its terrible no/low talent in their WR corp. when they meet. GA has ZERO chance in this game. ZERO, and thus ZERO chance to make Atlanta. See you next year.
Don't try to soar with the eagles, you GA Turkey when you're bread & butter is with the 1-dimensional GA GROUND GAME GRUNTS. Repeat after me! Having no decent air attack makes GA LAME. Having no decent air attack makes GA Lame. Having no decent air attack makes GA LAME. Now, go back in your bushes or hedges or whatever & get busy doing what dawgs do best like licking those balls

    No air attack?

    Leonard Pope
    AJ Bryant
    Kenneth Harris
    Sean Bailey
    Mario Raley

Richt has a pro-set two back system set up for Lumpkin, Ware, Brown, and others that will include almost all play action passing and also include short release routes for these backs.

    Richt is 3-1 against UT.
Richt is 2-0 in Knoxville and has two weeks to prepare for the game.

Zero chance is a pretty lame comment.

This means nothing. SI had us ranked #20 before the 2003 season. They were only 19 spots off...
