tell us what you've heard jules. i saw them play a&m last year since i bet on it and bouknight?? their star wr is impressive. i think they won their 1st bowl game in like 100 years as well. its still laramie, wyoming and 8 wins is phenomenal if reached.
Urban has a good system, and is a good mind offensively etc... But at Utah, his team could play poorly and win... In the SEC, if a talented team like UF plays poorly even against MSU, they lose, like we saw last year... That is the only real difference here
Let's worry less about what I said and focus on "bouknight". Is that a word Mr. Webster. I assume YOU have spellcheck.
did u ever see his team play poorly or are you making things up? im guessing the latter since they always played well when i saw them which was a lot.
welp.. they beat Zona... a team we destroyed 2 years ago by a count of 23-6... They beat Air Force by 14... Wyoming by 17... Yet they killed Pitt and A&M... So you telling me that they played their best in the Zona, Air Force, and Wyoming games? No! they didnt! Therefore, they had the ability to win without playing very well in the process... In the SEC you can do it if you are lucky... Hell LSU did it this year... won against Ole Miss, Bama, etc... all without playing too well... BUT it often catches up to you
so their bad performances were by double digits at worst. its a good thing they didnt squeak by Oregon State or Troy.
It is a good thing OSU beat AU by 14 pts... 23-6? 28-14? in my math, that seems like this team that u consider high and mighty would never play like an Oregon St. on a given day...
i never said anything about the team. i simply questioned your poor wording and assessment. seems i was right if that's their bad performances. keep adjusting to fit your agenda if it helps.
Although it's always dangerous to disagree with professor Tirk, I'd have to say that I consider beating a military school by only 14 a bad game by Utah's standards. What do you have to say about that you joker?
Damn Tirk, you've pissed off a guy with 44 posts? Way to attack out of the box. Don't give any credence to gisclair's opinion. Most Utah games were well past his bedtime. As far as questioning Utah's strength, they beat everyone they played. You cannot do any more than that.
