Politically Wordly. Studying history is great, but you weren't reading the same poli books I read in the late 60s-70s in school. We didn't have the leftist slant inserted in our books like many do today. When the book decides for you & leads you to the author's desired conclusion, what's the point?
No whats long long long overdue is a special special special prosecutor to look into Hilary, Obama and Holder.
Hey Sgt Shultz the FBI director does not do investigations the rank and file does. Trump is not being investigated Russian hacking is. Jesus Chirst no wonder Obama got elected twice
Calls grow for an independent special prosecutor to investigate Trump campaign ties to Russia http://www.latimes.com/politics/was...-for-an-independent-1494432019-htmlstory.html Pressure mounted Wednesday for the Justice Department to name an independent special prosecutor to look into whether anyone close to President Trump worked with Russia to sway the election in Trump's favor.
I doubt that will happen. The Republican Party used to be a respectable institution. For example, it was a Republican, himself, Howard Baker, who led the charge against Richard Nixon. Today's GOP has no similar scruples... it esteems power over country. Furthermore, there's considerable evidence that some of the top dogs (McConnell, Ryan, etc.) themselves received big inappropriate payments from the Russians. Right now I'm looking to Europe to save OUR democracy. I hear (from individuals I highly trust) that European intelligence agencies have some truly damaging, irrefutable material against Cheeto Snatchgrabber.
And now we're learning that Rod Rosenstein is incensed that Trump is trying to paint this firing as Rosenstein's recommendation. Here's a link to Rosenstein's letter expressing a case against Comey, apparently produced at Trump's request. Despite the article's title there's no express recommendation that Comey be fired: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-39866767
