I agree that the media WANTS LSU to win, so they can say they were right about OU not belonging in the game.

None of those idiots has figured out YET that OU didn't keep USC out of the NC game. That loss to KSU merely deflected all of the controversy off of LSU an onto OU.

Correct. It's USC's fault and only their fault that they are not in it. LSU is #2 in the BCS and polls so all of the negative conflictions are aimed at OU.

I do agree if LSU wins, the media will pull an " I told you so " campaign, but there is nothing that can be done. I don't have a problem about splitting the N.C. It is better than 99% of the other schools in the country.

Okay, Okay! I understand your fury! There is a media lovefest for the condoms. I think it is a little early to say that if lsu loses, it is because they beat themselves. I posted several days ago, that if lsu does win, I will be over here congratulating your team on a great season and an UNDISPUTED National Championship. If it's a close game and one team or the other makes a couple of bad plays, well, ok, then maybe they didn't play as well as you would have hoped. But, that other team out there may have had something to do with that poor play. I am ready to commit to winner take all with no excuses. So, now all of you diehard Tiger fans need to step up to the plate and do the same. Everyone has had a month of preparation and knows what is on the line. Both coaches know how to prepare their players and how to win this game. If the players don't bring their A game, then that is theri own fault. Like I said....winner take all. No excuses. Undisputed champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there are any fans in the country that are known for paying the opponents congrats after a home team's defeat, it's LSU fans. If OU wins, you'll get your congrats from us. I guarantee it.

    NOW LET'S PLAY SOME BALL!!!!

    (Damn Saturday is taking forever!)

Halfway through the season they were saying Oklahoma may be the greatest NCAA football team of all time--better than the Miami teams, the Alabama teams, the Nebraska team that beat Spurrier, the Spurrier NC team the next year, and everyone else.

Now they are not even picking Oklahoma to win the Sugar Bowl.

What that means is: Corso, Trev "The Rubber Ball" (since he bounces from one team to another according to who won that week) Albert, and the rest at ESPN don't have a friggin' clue as to which teams will win.

The Michigan team obviously was a couple of notches below the top three and they are touting USC as No 1.

It is a competition to show each other up on national TV, and it has NOTHING to do with serious discussion. They say they want it decided on the field and won't even wait to see the BCS no. 1 and no. 2 teams play.

They have been consistently wrong all season, but they know now. Yeah, sure......

They are a joke. By the way, as a football anaylyst, Christine Brennan knows a hell of a lot about figure skating.

I wonder if Michigan would've won, if they would be talking about them possibly becoming the #1 team in the nation. After all, they did beat Ohio St.

Like you said, whoever wins, that's who they're after.

These ESPNers said a couple of days ago that Oklahoma would win...they're flip floppers and flimflammers. They have no credibility left.
