That pisses me off because should we lose the SECCG, I honestly believe that we (or even UGA)--heck...THE LOSER of the SECCG DESERVES to be an AT-LARGE over Tennessee!!!

What's the point in the SECCG?? --To go to the game, possibly lose, and then watch a team that you beat out for the SECCG spot go to a BCS Bowl while you go to the Capital One Bowl?!?!!?

    IT's CRAZY AND STUPID!!!!
    :cuss:

If that's the case, what's the honor of winning your division in the SEC??? Heck, if UT goes to a BCS game, and the loser of the SECCG get left out, I rather not even go to the SECCG!!!

SEC only got 1 team in the BCS last year. I was wondering about that too. The powers that be will not stand for 1 team in BCS for 2 years in a row. SEC should send 2 teams because big 12 and PAC 10 both got 2 teams in last year.

i just do not see SEC getting 1 team in the BCS 2 years in a row.

This is just one possibility, others have LSU and Michigan meeting in the Rose (Should LSU win the SECCG and not go to the Sugar). It was in last week's LATimes.

The Rose, much like all the other BCS bowls are very concerned with getting the best possible traveling teams. The Rose Bowl tries to draw fans atleast a week before the game with several "Rose Bowl" related festivals, to fill hotels and have fans spend as much money as they can. It's the same way with all the bowls, but the BCS bowls know that fan support and traveling will be higher than at your average bowl. I can tell you for a fact, out here in LA they rather have Texas or LSU (b/c of the traveling fan base). Tenn would certainly fit that model, but they are also concerned with the general attractiveness of the match up (meaning, conference champs).

Of all the bowls, the Rose bitches the most. They would seem more likely to want to screw the other bowls than profit from this year's game. But trust me, that is not the case. The Rose is looking to make money this year, and they want to match up conference champs. It really is all about money. I don't doubt the Rose would love to screw everything up for all the other bowls, but money is just too hard to turn down.

Cannot happen. If Michagin remains in the top 4 (and there's no reason they should not) they MUST receive a BCS bid.
