Holgorsen to Houston

So Houston outbid WV for this guy or was WV just tired of the bald mullet? Paying $4M for 5yrs, first 3 guaranteed. Then again, city of Houston likely has more affluence than the entire state of WV. Some lofty expectations no less...

 

WV just didn't want to pony up. They struggled in talks and the bald one didn't even return with the team after their bowl game.

Burning couches? He could do better and the cougs have disposable cash. That's a lot of scratch to be meah. Curious to see who WV can pull after playing cheap. Miles coulda done better in the mountains...

 

Since high-power offense is kinda their bag, Im guessing any overtures by Les and Co. were politely/vigorously declined.

I think its a win for Houston. Houston area is plum full of football talent....and as we have seen a lot of 3 stars end up doing quite well.

 

All true, just seems like this contract has an Alleva feel to it.

 

Its definitely a step towards serious investment, just hope they dont end up with buyers remorse.
