Let's evaluate the "resurgence" of Arkansas (past 4 wins): #93 Kentucky...................71-63 in 44 overtimes #62 South Carolina............28-6 #110 New Mexico State......48-20 #95 Miss. State................ 52-6 I don't think I need to comment on this. It speaks for itself. Before that came the 3 game losing streak. The 3 game losing streak looks more impressive than this winning streak. No worries. I am just glad they won those 4 games for LSU's SOS. That offensive line will not hold up against our blitz.
Re: Re: Re: Hogs Offensive Line. The Hawg messages on your phone ... they're merciless, but not as bad as most. Lived in Ft. Smith for a few years and been there ... done that. Enjoy the week ... LSU's gonna roll ... hell, you can have some fun baiting them that you're scared about this Sr. Hawg team. The game should be close ... till kickoff ... LOL. Can LSU hold Cedric Benson & Decori Birmingham to 1/2 of their 250 ypg average and slow down Matt Jones? They are the exact same Hogs we played last year, just a year older and wiser. The LSU Dee gave up 1 stupid play last year ... but a poor Offensive showing cost us dearly. This year should be very different. This Hawg Team leads the SEC in Turnover ratio ... a real factor, but they are hurtin' on defense ... LSU should be able to run well. The key to the game will be LSU's offense and the run. Can we avoid the stupidest of turnovers and drive-killin' penalties? Will the weather be decent to utilize LSU's speed? If it's yes, and we come out hot on offense and can 3-and-out this team with our defense ... we're due for another huge scoring game & blowout. Mauck has NEVER had two bad back-to-back games. He'll be on. QB Matt Jones-Jr, FB Mark Pierce-Jr, TB Cedric Cobbs-Sr Decori Birmingham-Jr, WR George Wilson-Sr, WR Richard Smith-Sr, TE Jason Peters-Jr, OT Bo Lacy-Sr, OG Scott Davenport-Sr, C Dan Doughty-Sr, OG Mark Bokermann-Sr, OT Shawn Andrews-Jr. The Line is about the biggest we've seen this year and averages 6'4" & 310 without the TE, a 6-5 320 monster that's just another tackle. They like to run that strongside ... and it'll be a brutal smash-mouth battle in the first half. We'll load that line with 8 to stuff the run ... but they'll keep running ... it's their religion. LSU may even use a 5-man dee line, we'll have to wait and see. That's the good thing about Nutt ... he's predictable. Enjoy the week ... the Hogs will die magnificently Friday.
