Sorry you missed last year. Some might remember a +3000 yds passer, two +1000 yd WR's and a + 1000 yd RB, yes that is conservative for Les.

Sucks we couldn't have last year's offense with 2011's defense. That would've been a team not to fuck with, damn.

Not to be too technical, but those reading his excellent tomb, probably won't be hearing a lot, one way or another. Spilt milk under the bridge kind of thing!

You know, if cam can ever get the o rolling half tilt, I think chief will usually hold up his side of the bargain. I think miles and co are greater than Saban and co all other things equal. I'm thinking Miles got the right guy in cam, and I'm thinking jennings and Harris will mature into badasses. But history doesn't support any of that at this point. Last year kinda makes my head itch as well; no D.

Yea, but Les has, "gotten much more conservative." Conservatism has somehow allowed those numbers.

In case some of you are not aware, this is the 2014 season. There is not the same diversity and balance.

Sure last years team was very balanced, but that is far from the case this year. It is not getting better, it is getting worse. AJ is losing confidence by the week.

Miles becomes too conservative when he does not have faith in his QB. I understand you won't pass the same with AJ as you would with Mett last year. However you must try to keep the D honest. The coaches have done a better job of calling some passes on first down and trying to mix it up some but AJ has been way off. Which is why you must try something to spark the passing attack, like giving Harris some legit opportunities at playing time.

can we debate honestly. that year was an outlier. we all know the norm is around a 50th+ ranked offense, exactly where it is now.

prior years in reverse order respectively, 33, 77, 57, 81, 102. my apologies, we average 70th over the last 5 years.

thats where the discontent lies. to keep defending it or worse, pretending it doesnt exist helps no one further the discussion of the actual issue that is our oft terrible offense.

Those who defended les a few years back, claimed it wasnt his doing. insert offensive coordinator of the moment and blame him. yet here we are years later as the one common denominator remains and no one else. unless we count jordan jefferson jennings for all of them?

so now its not the oc, its the lack of experience and talent.

next year it will be lack of experience.

wake me when we have something besides excuses on the offensive side of the ball. please.
