If you think the last 10 years of LSU football have been boring, you are weird. My friends who don't care about the SEC tell me that they always tune in for a big LSU game because they figure it'll go down to the wire and a bunch of crazy stuff will happen. Perhaps you'd be happier watching the no-defense track meets in the Big 12 or Pac 12?
les is seen as quirky but make no mistake hes seen as a damn fine coach across the country. we see him differently like in a long marriage where you nitpick and get on each others nerves. some days you just hate the sight of each other. we see les on a micro level. we curse because we care. yet teams who face les fear they'll likely get their ass kicked and prepare accordingly. thats respect. everyone tunes in to the bama/LSU game because its the best of the best. its the college football showcase FSU/Miami was in the 80's and 90's. just because we have a laundry list of complaints about our HC as does every fanbase, the fact of the matter is most any of them would swap teams and coaches with us. best division, best conference, elite program, bcs relevant. You cant ask for much more on a grand level. Doesnt make my issues or yours with the coach irrelevant. recurring problems exist. we want them to be the best. But never lose sight, even when we arent, we are always in the discussion. And teams greatly respect this program and lots of that is les miles' doing. but I still call things how i see it. Im tough on les but im pretty fair as well.
Not that you care, but I would give you a 1,000 rep points if I could. Well done my man. Well done. Unfortunately your brilliant remarks will fall on deaf ears to 99% of those who read them.
That wasn't an attempt to troll but that aside. If losing streaks to Bama is your primary justification the SEC has pitiful coaching. In fact which ones have beat him more than Miles? Not to mention that 4 time reference includes one in which we played him twice in the same year. No team has beat Bama/Saban twice in one year.
Yeah well I heard that Les Miles is leaving to be Michigan's new AD and Alleva is looking at Gregg Williams and Ed Orgeron to be co-head coaches and Aaron Brooks to be the new quarterbacks coach. I met my source at a camp near cocodrie as he was coming off a rig.
