I think $aban "respect" is almost of a fear quality in the media. I remind you of how the little prick talked his way into the NC in 2011 and most recently out of a flag in death valley on a Saturday night. And regarding the gumps getting a pass for losing to ole piss, not going to fly when they lose to moo u and possibly the war chickens. Nothing would make me smile more than seeing the gumps lose the next two SEC contests and then not show up to their bowl game.
I tend to look at this issue a little differently. Compare how excited we are week in and week out playing in the SEC where any game could be a win or a loss. We're bored when we're playing a New Mexico State, and we're ecstatic and pumped when we play AU, Florida, Ole Miss, Alabama, A & M... Coaches feel the same way. The competition makes them feel alive. I would hate to go through a football season as a fan with only one or two big or challenging games. The top coaches feel the same way. Many were questioning why Bielema left the easy Big 10 to come to the SEC. But that's just it and that's why. The SEC is the best of the best, and coaches, being competitors by nature, want to line up against the best, not the easiest. It's high risk/high reward.
I have 100 dollars and a case of your favorite beer or a 5th of your favorite whiskey for the person who private messages me the identity of TigerTap.
Maybe we need a few years of Curly Hallman football. If winning at the greatest clip in program history isn't enough, then nothing will be.
Criticism does not necessarily equate to total disapproval. I appreciate what Saban and Miles have done, but Saban had QB issues and was often too conservative. He yelled a lot and was kind of a jerk, reportedly. Miles has had QB issues that are glaringly obvious for most of his time here. Some of us only care about the destination, and 80% is cool. Some of us care about the ride and want to see improvements made, especially for something so obvious.
This is so fucking stupid I think you should go to the hospital immediately and get your head examined. Leaving aside the fact that winning 3 out of 9 is 33%, he has a winning record against the entire SEC except Bama (5-5) and UGA (2-2). 6-3 in bowl games. 55-23 (70%) in the goddamn Southeastern Conference! Those games may not matter to you, but they do to me.
