Playing to the strengths of a team is fine. The issue is though you should not have a QB completing under 50% in this day and age. Also, while the run game has done well look at the avg of our backs. Not good at all. RB's in college typically avg 5.5 or more with many over 6 yards per carry. Fornette, our top back is at 4.8. Why, because everyone knows what is coming next. They do not respect our passing game.

The OL has done a good job since the UF game but before that LSU had a few good runs to help the avg but most runs early one went for nothing.

IF you have a QB you know could complete passes and does, then you will force the D to play more honest. AJ has gotten worse as the season has gone on instead of better. He is clearly losing confidence. Despite his one bad game Harris has shown to be the better passer. But oh wait, LSU only has 3 losses so why try to find a better passer.

What? Back up that statement! Which games matter? OK, he's 3-6 vs Saban; that's 33%, so you're already wrong. But what other games "matter?" Here I'll help:

    vs Auburn, 7-3, 70%
    vs Ole Miss, 7-3, 70%
    vs Arkansas, 7-3, 70%
vs A&M, 3-0 at LSU, don't care what he did in Stillwater, 100%
vs the SEC East, 22-8, 73%
vs OOC from major conferences, including bowl games, 16-2, 89%

    Total 65-22, That's 74%

Let me know when we actually lose a season, Cochise. We are ranked #17, higher than many 1 and 2-loss teams. Why? Because LSU is really not that bad, we just play in a division with four top-10 teams and with one of the youngest squads in the SEC.

With our history of how we utilize QBs why would any big time passing QB come here? Most show up expecting to show off their talent and get handcuffed.

It wasn't literal. Geez you guys hang on every damn word. Yes the gumps matter. The ole miss games matter. We should never ever under any circumstances lose to freaking Kentucky in football EVER. You know damn well which games matter.

Not to mention the stinging reality that Dak Prescott was an instate prospect that Miles lost.

Louisiana and the southeastern states are fertile ground for recruiting football players. I honestly don't think Louisiana is the only place Miles can look for a QB. Should anyone have to really clarify that for you??

Dak was brought up because he is from Louisiana, he is on the first place team in the country, and he has his team in position to win the SEC west, possible SEC championship, spot in the playoff and is a heisman candidate. Dak finally has a defense, weapons on offense, and a scheme which he excells in. Mullen didn't have the signing classes like Miles and look where they are at.

Jeremy Hill proved what type of person he was with the 2 incidents he was involved in. Neither incident, in my opinion, is worthy of support or praise. He doesn't come off to me as person who should be a role model for young men with a dream to be a football player. I wouldn't want someone like that being the face of my franchise, a leader of my team, or a representative of my university.

Also he has been groomed and developed, something Miles has shown he has been unable to do (with exception of Mett)
