I agree with everything you have posted here...but, I do think Va Tech has more than you are giving them credit for.

The line? It's what most think, but how many of the so called betting experts end up being right? As example, the line from last week vs MSU was assinine. That's why I took LSU and the points as soon as I saw it posted at 17.

As to Crowton...has he, and the other new coaches on offense had the time to implement his system? I see it taking a couple of years for the full system to be implemented.

Again...I wouldn't be surprised if I change my pick by the end of the day...and again, Thursday.

Kind of a dumb situation. Think about our record last year against top 10 teams.

    2006 - 0-2 (Auburn, Florida)
    2005- 1-1 (Bama, Georgia)
    2004- 0-3 (Iowa, Georgia, Auburn)
    2003- 2-0 (OU, Georgia)
    2002- 0-1 (Texas)

So, 3-7 in 5 years against final top 10 teams....

Anyone else see the logic in it? You beat a team, they fall. They beat you, they are more likely to finish in the top 10..... :dis:

We certainly didn't come to any consensus but tossed that idea around a little last night in this thread if you're interested in some of the thoughts on it mash on what's below. :thumb:

My last post in the thread was to show just how subjective all this chit is, in saying "Who" we played, as far as "How strong" our schedule is.
