Re: Re: OMG Boy, you sure do like saying this, don't you? You must be a 98 lb. weakling hiding behind his keyboard.
Originally This post was put up to see what you thought about our PA Annoucer calling Carnell, Cadillac Williams when he carried the ball. It was not suppose to be an argument whether Carnell was anygood. Sorry everybody got all pissed off at eachother.
Caddy will probably be the first running back taken...His skills are undebateable... Having said that...the offensive line blocking for them is quite offensive... If you don't have a line blocking for you, you can't run for sh!t. Don't down him because he got inferior talent, superior scheming to stop him, and a supporting cast that leans on him... You put him in an NFL offense with an NFL quarterback...You'll see.
Whats the bog deal about what he wants to call himself? Would you want the stadium announce to call Tiger Woods by his given name of Eldrick?
Re: Re: Re: OMG I like saying it in response to people who puff out their chest and act like they have the power or authority to tell someone where they can or can't post. I'm no 250 lb. menace, but far from weakling. And people bowing up acting like they're going to fight you over stuff said on a sports message board has to be one of the dumbest things I encounter. Like we're all still in junior high. So I have no need to hide behind my keyboard because it isn't about physical threats or intimidation. It's about reminding someone behaving like a punk exactly how little real power they have over things. I realize that this particular case wasn't that way, although there has been some of that here. But it was a case of me just wanting to say, "Who in the world do you think you are?" You don't tell people what to do or not do so get over yourself.

He calls Mauck "Matt", but I have it on good authority that his real name is "Matthew". In other words, what difference does it make? If someone is commonly referred to be a nickname, then it makes sense to use that name when referring to them in the game. To be honest, it was so loud most of the time I couldn't here the announcer... I thought they tended to just use last names most of the time.
I guess You all just missed the whole friggin point. If we were at Auburn then they can call him Cadillac when you in Tiger Stadium you call him Carnell.
