If classified information was put in emails that were handled in an unclassified manner, I can assure you there is a crime. Not saying crime by HRC, but a crime.

Think about this, here is the scenario that @red55 wants you to buy into. That one day there is an email and it is floating around for general consumption (by that I mean within the circles of the hill) and then years later someone says "Oh by the way, that document is not only classified, but it is one of the highest levels of classification we can possibly put on something" Keep in mind, there are no telling how many pairs of eyes that have already seen this document. Does that make even a single iota of sense to you? Of course not, which is why a freaking document would NEVER be upgraded. What the fuck would be the point, the shit has already been passed around. Maybe Red thinks the government actually has those pens the MIB used to make people forget shit but it just aint so.

Just like I can assure you that this email wasn't "retro" upgraded to the top of the classification scale. No freaking way.

I DO NOT KNOW. But I would wager the up classification, which of course can occur, generally applies to documents, not messages. And in all likelihood is a volume of information on a subject, combining to give out more than we wish, collectively, but I do not know.

In any event, it would NEVER apply to compartmentalization. If special intelligence, i.e., compartmented information, was involved, it is labeled at the source. Period.

You've proved that you aren't capable of abstract thought so it really doesn't matter what you think.

Well, you're certainly capable of abstract thought, especially when you just make shit up. You don't have a shred of evidence for any of this and I will just keep pointing that out.

So after who knows how many eyes have been laid on it, classifying an email more than top secret makes sense to you?

And I used to think you were sharp. Ha turns out about as sharp as a turd cut with a club.
