No, not my entire point. I've also pointed out how phony and cynical she is. You claimed that her dead broke comment was about a balance sheet, and not an attempt to portray herself as identifying with the "common man". In this series of posts and quotes, I have addressed THAT aspect of her bullshit.

Says you. Unless she's laying her head on yer pillow, your interpretation is no more accurate than the overwhelming number of people who saw it differently and repeatedly asked her for clarification.

There were a hundred ways to explain it without once again using language comparing herself to the common man. She never misses an opportunity. Her entire Scooby Doo van tour is the personification of her image shaping.

Wait, I thought you said her meaning was obvious. Now it's up for interpretation?

Not my misquote....it's from the article and the quote was not wrapped around the word "not". I included the entire commentary so that context could be applied. The quote she made herself was 100% verbatim.

A dishonest person doesn't have to lie every time they open their mouth. An intentional omission or purposeful distortion of the truth still makes one dishonest. She is trying way too hard and it's not believable. She hasn't driven a car since 1976. Her kid went to 2 of the best private schools around. She's been surrounded by security and privacy and had all the best things available to her for decades now. She makes millions in speaking. She's not common, she's not average and her attempts to paint herself that way is frankly, dishonest. What does Romney have to do with Hillary? He's not running this time, she is. And I didn't vote for him either.

And she made it quite well. Of course the rest of us didn't really need the illustration to realize that she is a bald face liar.

And before you get crafty as a wordsmith I meant that @uscvball clearly exposed your dream girl as a liar, vball would never lie.

If the former First Bitch had been honest (HA HA HA HA HA HA HA) she would have said: "Bill and I were a little strapped for liquid assets in the weeks following our exit from the While House. We had gotten used to all the perqs and freebies that come with the highest office and we simply didn't manage our money quite as well as we should. We even had to cut our vacation in the Hamptons back from a month to two weeks."

But that wouldn' have fit her cold calulating agenda to somehow make us commoners believe she was one of us.

And I have addressed it as well, I see no need to keep repeating myself.

Damn right. People can disagree with what you say.

This is part of my point. You are pre-disposed to distrust her and are not being open-minded at all about the semantics..

But can be read two different ways, whether you care to admit it or not.

Now you are suggesting she lies every time she opens her mouth. Which is absurd. See what I mean?

Hey, I understand you don't like her. It colors your entire argument.

Uhhh, he's a politician that has trouble relating to people. You fault Hillary for trying to relate to people, when it is a hallmark of every politician.

Her language is consistent. She attempts to paint herself as being "one of us" and her campaign people have in fact said, the Scooby van tour is all about shaping her image as "one of us".

Here's the problem....you made this comment,
"She simply didn't say that she was "not truly well off". She said that she pays ordinary income taxes, unlike a lot of other truly well off people. She obviously includes Bill and herself in that category."

So in this instance, you think her meaning is obvious but everyone else should be open-minded and held to semantical truth?

    Not at all.

    See?

He's not running for President so points about him do not matter in this discussion, which is about Hillary as is this entire thread. As I said before, she tries too hard when it's obvious that she's not like us. So hard, that she is patently dishonest.

Why isn't she one of us? Do you imagine that she's Kenyan? The Clintons work hard and make money, they get into debt, and they get out of it through more hard work. Seems exactly like a lot of us. Now her van is somehow insidious?

You said what was obvious to you and I said what was obvious to me. So, I recognized that there is some semantical ambiguity that is subject to interpretation here. But you cannot, apparently. See?

Don't pretend that you don't understand that people will contrast and compare when trying to make a point. All politicians regularly try to connect with the people. I'll introduce whatever argument I wish.

How is she not like "us"? Is she a Romulan? Do her debts magically vanish?

The ONLY thing clear is that Red is the only goober that actually believes that this lying bitch has ever spent a single day broke in her entire pathetic life. Guess he is going to gloss over the fact the she came from money and Bill was actually the broke stoner in the beginning.

    Unreal.

Money? Her dad was a fabric salesmen who worked his way up to owning a small textile wholesale business. She went to public schools. Try again, Gomer.
