sure, ts is a classification, tk is not. never stands alone.

just sayin, its not a issue that the general public or the media is familiar with. they should be careful in forming conclusions.

Then why can't you list them so we can evaluate them? I expose phoney sources all of the time. A blogger posts an opinion and people think they have seen a fact.

Yeah I'm not real sure where he is going or what he is trying to get at. Yes, if the State Dept creates or disseminates its own findings or info they have the responsibility to classify it as they see fit, however if they receive info from another source they cannot at their own discretion say "well, I don't think this is TS at all, I'm going to declassify it. Likewise, if they receive info from another source that isn't labeled and they see that it should be then they have a responsibility to raise the flag and say "Whao, what exactly are we doing here this is sensitive info" . "it wasn't classified when I got it" simply isn't a plausible defense here.

    http://www.archives.gov/isoo/policy-documents/eo-12958-amendment.html#part-3

    "Executive Order 13292
Sec. 3.1. Authority for Declassification. (a)
Information shall be declassified as soon as it no
longer meets the standards for classification under
    this order.
    [[Page 15320]]
    (b) It is presumed that information that continues
to meet the classification requirements under this
order requires continued protection. In some
exceptional cases, however, the need to protect such
information may be outweighed by the public interest in
disclosure of the information, and in these cases the
information should be declassified. When such questions
arise, they shall be referred to the agency head or the
senior agency official. That official will determine,
as an exercise of discretion, whether the public
interest in disclosure outweighs the damage to the
national security that might reasonably be expected
    from disclosure."

there you go. agency heads can declassify

you didnt think the only way to declassify was for the date to run out, did you?

And I have been asking you to prove it. And you are failing badly.

That is your opinion. Hers is that she was was the Secretary of State and as such is the authority of what is sensitive or not regarding state department emails.

This is typical bad research. First of all there is no quote from the IG in that article. It is all a opinion piece by its author on a conservative scandal site, The Washington Free Beacon. He is characterizing the IG memo

The actual letter from the IG is posted online by Republican Senator Charles Grassley, if you care to check it out. Note that the memo itself is a scanned paper copy and is marked TOP SECRET//SI//TK//NOFORN, yet the honorable senator has posted it online. You can post what the IG actually said and I'll discuss it with you. I will not debate an article.

Quit singing the little "nyah, nyah" song and try to conduct a debate like a adult, Cholo.

no poster has acknowledged that classification isnt a black and white issue. persons with OCA often disagree. so i dont necessarily think its a big deal if some gov official thinks some items in some HRC emails are classified. there needs to be more.
