so the Benghazi witch hunt continues. More wasted taxpayer money. Haven't we wasted enough taxpayer money on this bullshit? Fuck we could have buried the whopping 4 people that died in their own Temples like Egyptian Pharos for all the fucking money we have wasted on this bullshit.

Forest and trees, broham. It's not about Benghazi here. It's about Hillary's blatant and continuing dishonesty and cover ups. How many times has the public been told that "everything" has been turned over, only to find out that, whoops, we forgot this.

Hillary wants to be POTUS. Don't you think her credibility and honesty should be in play?

It never has before, but now all the sudden it's important.

The purpose of the witch hunt is a witch hunt, not to find truth or justice for those killed. Look, they've been through this time and time again and have never found one single shred of evidence of a cover-up or an order from the President or SOS for reinforcements to "stand down." It is now apparent that the entire point of the investigation is to hold an investigation that will cast doubt on HRC. I am willing to bet that once the election is over will go away entirely.

Let's review: Darrell Issa tries like hell for two years to convince someone, anyone that there is a grand conspiracy surrounding Benghazi. Bi-partisan commissions repeatedly find that there was no wrong doing. What does Boehnor do? Replaces Issa with Gowdy. Gowdy holds a very public press conference, which was posted all over social media as the moment when we finally get to the truth, and claims that he has evidence of wrong doing and he is going to expose it. That was two years ago and still nothing.

There is no fire here, folks, just a GOP fog machine and a few idiots standing by to tell folks it's all burning down

So the GOP fog machine is responsible for the fact that Hillary and company were, at best, not completely forthcoming in their claim that ALL documents from her private email had been turned over? There is no need to cast doubt, the fish has been caught!

I can't remember word for word so excuse me if I am mistaken, but didn't you at some point, claim that all the information on this case had been turned over and reviewed? But here we are, years later, and information is STILL coming out. It may turn out to be nothing but the point is, the investigation couldn't have been complete because nobody had seen these emails.

Remind me, why did we have a huge trial over Watergate and this continued cover up via Hillary's email is ignored? How is that any different than the issue "going away" once the election is over? Of course it will. If/when Hillary is elected, nobody can do anything about it. If she somehow doesn't win, then still, nobody will care. But that's not the point. She wants to be President and is looking like the front-runner at this point. Would you vote for her?

Let's actually look at the facts in this case. 60 additional pages of e-mails between HRC and Sidney Blumenthal were discovered and brought before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. Those e-mails were so mundane that the committee decided to interview Blumenthal in private rather than with a public hearing. Democrats are currently calling for the minutes of the meeting to be released because they know that the Select Committee has no interest in the truth, only to try and diminish Hillary's image heading into an election season.

And every piece of relevant information has indeed been turned over. We are now on our 6th or 7th official Benghazi investigation so I find it increasingly hard to believe that the smoking gun is sitting right around the corner. Make no mistake, the Republicans are going to ride this horse as long as it riles their base enough. So, to refute your statement, new information is not still coming out. These 60 pages of e-mails contained nothing. Hear me? nothing. Don't you think that if there was anything even remotely damning about those e-mails that the Republicans would have been front and center of every microphone in DC? You bet your sweet ass they would! They got nothing....just like they have every other time.

In spite of Republicans wishes this is not watergate....not even close. Sadly, while chasing Rabbits down holes there are actually real problems in the country that need to be addressed that never will because these people are far more interested in perpetuating a lie.

Your article said "Members of Congress still aren’t sure whether Mrs. Clinton failed to give the emails to State, or State failed to give the emails to Congress, which is likely to release the new emails in the coming days." Seems bit early to jump to conclusions like that, but that's what witch hunts are all about.

You are right. It may turn out to be nothing. So reasonable people keep open minds while those with an agenda make unfounded insinuations because, lets face it, the public often doesn't seek out the truth, they believe what they want to hear.

    two comments:

    1. You and the right-wing press is certainly not ignoring this. In the absence of any evidence of Benghazi wrongdoing, hysteria is being whipped up about Hillary's honesty just to make it appear like smoke might appear at any time from the imaginary fire.

    2. Are you seriously comparing the high crimes of wiretapping, burglary, theft, political espionage, conspiracy, and cover-up to allegations that Hillary might have failed to deliver all of her emails to Congress and those emails might reveal that she might have done something that might have been politically embarrassing? You are comparing the very real Nixon tapes that revealed a "deplorable, disgusting, shabby, and immoral" performance on the part of the President and his former aides to imaginary emails?

It depends on who her opponent is and what his shortcomings are. All politicians are self-serving and spin their stories. Every damn one of them.

If you can't beat em, do everything you can to discredit them, to smear them, to create some sort of controversy.

You don't think Hillary would do something like that just to become POTUS do you?

Yes, I think they all would. It's petty and sad. The republicans are so god damn stupid though, find something better, not something that has been proven wrong already 100 times.

But then again that's the republican mantra. Repeat failed policies, and repeat failed ideas and tactics until they work, which is mostly never, the smear stuff works from time to time though because democrats and moderates don't vote.
