I agree that there are no shortage of articles about the investigation and rightfully so; she's a high-profile individual who has had access to some of our countries most precious secrets so due diligence needs to be done. That said, there really hasn't been any new information other than the e-mails that have been flagged as potentially containing sensitive information. The FBI is investigating each and every one of these. Do a google search for Comey, the guy who runs the FBI, and you will see that he ain't about to cut her any slack. So, again, if she's done something criminal, make her pay for it. If not, let's all move forward. We will not know until the FBI has completed their investigation.

Speaking of moving forward, I wonder it the movers and shakers of the Democratic party are planning to move forward with a replacement candidate who has a chance of winning. Bernie Sanders would go down like McGovern did to Nixon. Joe Biden might have a shot at winning but he would be 75 by the time he took office. John Kerry is 71 now and has a very unlikable personality. Could it be Al Gore? He is 67 but no older than HRC. And he almost won in 2000.

Really, any damn fool can see that the probe could just as easily find nothing at all. He posts any headline he can find including the same stuff over and over and claims that there new revelations daily. He thinks that Clinton and Obama playing golf means something sinister. I mean, ex-presidents have never played golf together before, right?

If you read the stories you would know that a lot of it is information that has been updated from what we knew before, like this from the leader of the right wing conspiracy, The Washington Post

And wouldn’t you know it, but that “State Department officials have uncovered 17,855 emails sent between a former Hillary Clinton spokesman and reporters that the agency long claimed did not exist. The trove was among more than 80,000 emails belonging to Philippe Reines, a Clinton aide, that were discovered on his State Department account, officials said in court filings Aug. 13.” One recalls the Rose law firm scandal 20 years ago when documents “disappeared” and then — just like that! — reappeared.

Meanwhile, Clinton continues to decry the entire episode as mere partisanship. In her telling, it was all her idea to release the e-mails. This is bizarrely untrue; it was the House Select Committee on Benghazi that brought the home server to light. She no longer claims there were not confidential materials. Now she says, “But I never sent nor received any classified email, nothing marked ’Classified.'” That’s immaterial since she was responsible for knowing what materials are classified.

And yes, ex presidents play golf but Bill and Barackmed don't like each other.

A right wing conspiracy?????? I like this quote the best

Nothing approaching criminal conduct has, at this point, been demonstrated. But Clinton stands accused of poor judgment, playing close to ethical lines and showing a streak of paranoia. Her actions raise comparisons to Richard Nixon — and not the skillful diplomacy part.

Post Op-Ed writers hit Clinton from the left and right

As the controversy grows over Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server while secretary of State, the front runner for the Democratic presidential nomination is getting an earful from both conservative and liberal Washington Post Op-Ed writers.

Left-leaning columnist Eugene Robinson says enough with the explanations and excuses, how about an apology?

If you accept the job of secretary of state, you inevitably surrender some of your privacy. Any public official’s work-related e-mails are the modern equivalent of the letters, memos and diaries that fill the National Archives. They tell our nation’s history and belong to all of us. Even if your name is Clinton, you have no right to unilaterally decide what is included and what is not.

[The Daily 202: Hillary’s email problems are deja vu, Democrats worry]

So I wish Hillary Clinton would be respectful enough to say, “I’m sorry. I was wrong.” I wish she wouldn’t insult our intelligence by claiming she only did what other secretaries of state had done. None of her predecessors, after all, went to the trouble and expense of a private e-mail server.

Robinson also argues the issue isn’t going away.

If Clinton makes it to the general election, however, she has needlessly handed her Republican opponent a weapon. Her trustworthiness, as measured by polls, was always a relative weakness. Even if Democrats accept that the e-mail flap is a partisan witch hunt, the GOP nominee will try to persuade independents otherwise.

Former George W. Bush speechwriter Michael Gerson, meanwhile, offers his take in which he argues the use of the private server shows Clinton “overlearned” from past investigations that involved her. For good measure he throws in a Nixon comparison:

This is a choice that reveals a mindset. Having suffered through decades of investigations, Clinton apparently wanted to take complete, personal control over her communications records, which she could release or destroy at her own discretion. But the method was so blinking obvious that it has invited scrutiny. Clinton apparently overlearned the lesson of Whitewater; as God is her witness, she would never be subpoenaed again. In trying too hard to control events, Clinton has lost control of events. Her political future may lie, once again, in the hands of investigators and prosecutors.

[See how Clinton’s recent email troubles have skewed recent coverage negative]

Nothing approaching criminal conduct has, at this point, been demonstrated. But Clinton stands accused of poor judgment, playing close to ethical lines and showing a streak of paranoia. Her actions raise comparisons to Richard Nixon — and not the skillful diplomacy part.

He doesn't have to love or hate her to do his job and investigate the facts.
