The two that stood out the most was the ignored Personal Foul and the illegal motion. I know Verne who is an alabama worshiper had to "clarify" but it was about as tickey tack as you can get. Didnt matter really but raised a few ? marks. But it is what it is....
The two glaring misses are the personal foul (which would not have mattered; it was on a 3rd down and they punted anyway) and the missed holding call on the screen pass in the 2nd quarter. That one eventually put 7 points on the board.
This. You beat me to the punch regarding that missed hold in the 2nd quarter, which was pretty blatant. And I still can't believe the missed PF -- it was directly in front of an official. How do you miss that, unless there is a fix???
Also either PI or defensive holding (truth be known, it was both) on 2nd and long pass to Boone for about a 5 yard gain.
Easy to forget the holding call since it happened so early in the game. Lots of time to overcome it. Had it happened on the GW drive, you would really be hearing some noise.
