The reasoning for it being "uncatchable" is a joke. Clearly the SEC Officiating system is just a circle-your-wagons type operation.

At any rate, Redding never cared to explain to us why the contact doesn't at least qualify as defensive holding. Just because you think a pass is uncatchable doesn't mean all hell can break loose.

My favorite move is Irons after the LaFell play.

He backs up and puts his hands up in the air as to say "not me"!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yah, he didn't look guilty there AT ALL.

NICE JOB YOU FREAKIN' PUNK. :thumb: :dis:

Exactly. If officiating doesn't work on precedent, then how does it? Rules seem like precedent to me.

They cannot call PI against anyone who tips the ball away, whether or not it was going to be catchable.

I can't believe that I am taking offense to this - but how exactly did I "hedge" my comments? As far as I saw, I was one of the only ones on here that stated it WAS a bad call. Didn't make up any BS - in fact I stated that I am still glad we won because you would know I was lying if I stated otherwise.

Just kind of sucks when you admit that the other side got a raw deal on a call, then get told you are not one of the few with "integrity"...

Most of you guys have been EXTREMELY pleasant...Probably more so than I would have been if the situation was reversed. Heck, I was still hot about last years game, even though there were no bad calls.

Just kind of got my Auburn feelings hurt by that comment...LOL

well i was only watching the games on a handheld tv so i couldnt see the game that clearly nor hear the commentators. i will say that it is too bad that our games keep coming down to officiating calls and kickers. i guess that is what happens however when games are as close as they have been lately, what is it now auburn, leading by 2 points in three games, i guess there are bound to be bad calls in that span. hopefully we can go back to winning 30-7 and we wont have to worry about bad calls being the dealbreaker.

btw, thanks for the honesty auburn fans, id feel the same way, happy and relieved it wasnt me on the other end
