As long as Leak is extremely sore after a loss the following few days, then the defence did it's job.
This issue came up last season when ND played Tennessee. One of their QB's got hurt (I can't remember which one) ans the guy who injured him said after the game that as a defenseman he was alayws trying to hurt the QB (not direct quote). A couple of people got pissy over it and on Mike and Mike that monday they talked about it. They basically said the same thing that LuvDoc said. He was saying it in the context of trying to make a big hit, cause him pain, and basically throw him off his game game. In the game of football there is a big distinction between trying to "hurt" and trying to"injure" someone. I don't think that Wroten ment that he wanted to injure him. If that is what he ment, then he's an idiot, but its not. You know this will be plastered all over the UF boards though and blown completly out of proportion.
No, of course not! What kind of bloodthirsty animals do you think we are? They can slowly and safely back up a refrigerated "meat wagon" to pick up that piece of overrated crap off the field. Really, those California raisins are affecting your brain!
Absolutely ridiculous discussion. Are we seriously pondering whether it's good that a defensive player wants to hurt an offensive player?
I guess i have. I believe in good hard fought games with good sportsmanship. I guess that is going soft. I will continue to spout off with my soft words that are based on what i believe. I think that is called freedom of speach and i will exercise it . Thank you USNAVYTIGER for defending those rights with your life. I do think that as fans and players sometimes we cross the line . Just trying to help clarify where that line is.
