1. Intentional votes from state of Alabama to separate Bama and OSU.
Politics at its best. Would be like Gundy leaving Bama off his ballot to gain traction. It sucks but that's the reality of the current system.

Out of curiosity, did they vote Stanford 3rd?
  2. It doesn't matter who we play as long as we play LSU football this year. Its nice to see the Gumps sweat though! This system is screwed, we need a playoff system, every other sport including football have playoffs.
  3. That was their only saving grace, otherwise they would not have been able to justify putting them behind a 2 loss Oregon or 1 loss Boise State.

This was why I wanted Stanford to lose to Notre Dame.

And if VTech had lost last week to Virginia, then the voters would have had to jump Okahoma State from 3 to 2, instead of 5 to 2 like they are considering doing this week. Big difference.
  4. Sucks because if Alabama gets in, 3/4 of the country will be pissed. Yeah, who cares, etc., I get all of that, but it is a problem, imo. Especially since I am currently in the other 3/4ths. People are already commenting on the interwebs that they won't even bother to watch the game. The anti-SEC bias and hatred will only grow. Again, if you are in the middle of the SEC, who cares, etc.
  5. Me too.

Since we've returned to last years form [still waiting for the justification for that], I don't enjoy watching the games anymore, back to the same ol feeling of last year. ... so I'm not even sure I'm going to watch if OSU gets the nod. But I dang sure won't waste my time to watch another snail race.
  6. So, in other words, you're not a Tiger fan? Or, are you being facetious?

  8. I cannot even relate to this. We have a chance to make the statement that we are the premier BCS program!

  9. maybe i need another diet dp and more caffeine...

are you saying you arent gonna watch the ncg game cause you dont like how the team has been playing?
  10. I think we have already done that...
    2 BCS Championships
Miles has the best winning percentage of any coach since he came to LSU
    2011 SEC champions.
Only undefeated team in all of D1 football.
Plus all the beatings of ranked teams.
I think LSU win or lose has established itself as the premier BCS program this year.

Hence every other fan base chanting "WE WANT LSU" after their games only to get hammered (See UGA, Arkansas, etc etc) The latest now OSU and Bama.

Everyone wants to be LSU. Hence all the debate. "Who gets to take on the king"

What a great year to be a Tiger fan.
