LSU's hidden strength and success in 2004 will stem from the OL ... a line given little respect and underestimated and overlooked by all major sports publications ... called good ... with an 8 to 8.5 ranking out of 10 This is the best Offensive Line in school history ... period ... the nation will see this with an unbelievably crushing and unstoppable ground attack ... Vincent could go for 2,000+ yards ... but Saban will use all of his backs and keep the lot healthy ... look for 2,500-3,000 yards rushing production from LSU in 2004 with a reasonably balanced attack. Schools will know it's coming ... Like AU & GA ... and still won't be able to do anything but ... Bend down and kiss their asses and title hopes g-bye :hihi:
You shouldnt underestimate the luxury of having one of the best punters in the nation. We had the 2nd best punter in the SEC last year, and I fully believe that he helped contribute to our nation leading scoring defense. Being able to rely on a 45-50 yard punt with decent hang-time is invaluable.
Absolutely agree with Mobile Bengal about Punter In fact, with all the talk about QB, the punter position may be more critical for LSU. If you rely on a great defense, having an inconsistent punter can kill you. Losing our punter snapper before the Sugar Bowl came back to bite us in the ass and could have lost that game for us. Rarely talked about, but crucial to success is a solid punt team.
I know it is a VERY important part of the game. I just think back when that was a given. UT has always had good special teams players. I just wish our skill positions would improve. :thumb:
It's pictures (well, girls) like this that make me wonder what in THE HELL is wrong with gay guys. AYE CARUMBA. Someone got it very right when they made her. :thumb:
