You sure about that? Just wait, his TF defense team is busy formulating their response right now, wait for it....!
You think? Surely they must be ready by now. Its been about 5 hours since Rex started the thread....or about an hour less than Obama wanted to give Congress to digest the 1,000 page disaster manual before they voted on it.
I wonder how many folks will fork over a hundred thousand (or more) dollars to become a doctor if the government sets their wages? Will they be paid more than teachers? I, for one, never begrudge doctors the money they earn. And, yes, if they specialize, they should be paid more. Why should a neurosurgeon not make more than a GP? Welcome to the USSA, the United Socialized States of America.
There is no defense for this proposed legislation. Only a naive fool would endorse the nonsense that is noted above. I dont think we have that kind of mentality here even if you're an Obama sunshine pumper. While there may be some things in the legislation worthy of consideration the obvious garbage contained in this proposal can not be tolerated by even the most ardent Obama supporters.
oposition wasn't totally silent, LaSalle offered a link to the actual bill, no real rebutal though... I think its only a matter of time before Red answers, he has his servers overloaded with google searches for a rebutal... (just messing with ya Red)
i thought you were the opposition. what do you want? a line by line defense of those specific points in the first post? how many things do you have to disagree with to be considered opposition? i have no knee-jerk reaction to the fact that in a govt healthcare plan paid by taxes that the govt is mandating, controlling or regulating things. i agree with rationing i wouldnt vote for it if it covers illegals. they should only be treated out of the kindness of individuals or companies. it should not be mandated. i like that it makes (more or less) people get health insurance if they can afford it.
