I don't like the 49ers because of the longtime rivalry in the same division as the Saints but I have a lot of respect for the accomplishments of players like Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Ronnie Lott. I sometimes hate the Cowboys and sometimes pull for them. I am a big Yankees fan. I support TAFs efforts make improvements to the facilities at LSU. I was a big supporter of Dale Brown but I have ripped Joe "String Music" Dean for his cheapo hiring practices when if came to a football coach. I guess I should apologise to "Your Buttholeship" for living a life of omplete wastefulness OK, moral and ethically superior Skule Boy. Truthfully, and I've had some experience with Josh and Abram, they really are pompous. It's not something that just materialized out of thin air. Also, I didn't care for the way he talked about Coach Saban to the press while he was still playing at LSU. Calling him "saban" instead of "coach." You got the impression that he thought saban was his peer. Plus, I've never seen a 24 year old wear his highschool letterman jacket...until old Josh. Funny. Glory Days, yeah they'll pass you by, la, la He can go be a highschool coach now and pull those bike shorts up to his navel. Wink at the cheerleaders during PE.
Well said TigerStagg. These guys thought they would run the college they went to. Dinardo half way let them. Then Mr. Nick Saban rolled in and put them in their place where they belonged. Ole War Skule and those guys have no idea how pompous and arogant they were. They came to LSU to promote themeselves and be superstars. Not saying that no one does that, but let's be honest...I would much rather a Travis Daniels than an Abram Booty....
Dallas, I have never heard Coach Saban refer to Josh Booty in any way except in a positive manner. A couple weeks back, on his radio show he compliment Josh and his ability. He also extended an invitation to Abram to return to the team several weeks into that season. It is odd that the fans who expect perfection spend more time bashing players who gave their best throuhout their LSU careers then continue to bash them after they are gone. Yet they have amnesia in regards to players who embarass the university, let the team down by stealing purses, fail drug tests, and leave the team in mid season. Dinardo started J Booty, Saban started J Booty. J Booty set records for interceptions for Dinardo and made Coaches All SEC for LSU when coached by Saban and staff. Question for you. Which LSU Quarterback has led us to victory over Alabama in Tiger Stadium in the last thirty years. Question No 2. Who caught the game clinching pass on third down that permitted LSU to run out the clock in the Florida win a few years ago.
