Since the title of this thread is "Have you written off Russell..." I didn't think about putting my feelings on JV down.

But since you asked... No, I haven't written JV off. And yes, I think Vincent needs to step it up a lot. If he wants to have any kind of future here or in the NFL he needs to hit the weight room. He needs to put more work in in the off season, something he didn't do last year.

I haven't written anyone off completely. That would be a shame. I just find it mildly shocking that a quarterback with 2 years in a system can't seem to complete a 10 yard out pattern and has progressivley become worse over as the season goes along. I'm just comparing apples to apples.

I hope that this year was a wake up call for him and he puts his mind to overcoming the obstacles that are there in Division 1A College football.

Feel free to start a "Have you written off Justin Vincent..." thread and I will gladly contribute.

Once again, the title of this thread is "Have you written off JaMarcus Russell?"

What does my choice of screen names have to do with JaMarcus Russell?

I am not writing off JaMarcus Russell!!!!!!! I hope that he catches on and lights up the SEC next year. I hope he's the second coming of John Elway, Dan Marino or Joe Montana! I like the kid, his upside potential is amazing!

    You're missing the point...

If you are a mechanic by trade and you've had 2 years of working on nothing but '65 Mustangs, you should know where all of the parts are. You shouldn't have probelms locating the carburetor.

On top of that, why have you spent your entire life trying to be a collegiate quarterback? :D

You really want to give up a couple of years to a develop a quarterback that's only going to be here for 3 more years, if that?
