I just want to point out that its good imperialism when the Democrats spread socialism around the globe but to spread capitalism around the world would be a bad thing. Look at all the money spent in Africa over the last 20 or 30 years, if you spent a little time and effort over there they could impower themselves. Its funny, no doubt economically, that we are the greatest country in the world but god forbid us ever spreading such a thing around the world. The mindset of some people! :dis:

As long as there are people with a cause, who are to impoverished to have a military force... terrorism will exist. There are and always will be terrorists in every country, from the hills of Montana, to downtown Belfast... across the sea in the Pacific islands, to the Dark Continent of Africa. We will never stop terrorism, the only thing we can take away from them is the "fear" that they intend to breed, by committing these terrors.
sitting here at work today one thing came to mind...where are our so-called 'peaceful' muslim nations during this time? has saudi come forward to detest these acts? jordan? anyone? I know we aren't friends per se yet we do have vested interests where these so-called leaders need to be called out.
Is what we are doing in Iraq Imperialism? What we did in WWII to Japan and Germany Imperialism? If any of these answers is yes, why is it so bad? All of these countries today are not under American rule, they are independant of us. Matter of fact, I think any country including Africa would be very fortunate to have us mold their country and government after us. I'm not saying we should rule over any country but the world could only benefit from an economic system and capitalism. This would make the worlds economy that much better and stronger. How much money have we spent in Africa the past 20 to 30 years? Wouldn't we have been better off empowering the African people with Capitalism instead of sending so much money? Its like sending money directly to Castro or Saddam, the bad guys intercept the money and the good guys don't ever see it. Tirk, You are right about other Muslim nations, the truth is it only benefits their agenda to attack this country and its policies, just like some Democrats in this country. They sponser terrorism, most Muslim nations secretly, this is my opinion, I have no proof other than the sleeper cells that show up around the world from time to time. Such as those in New Jersey, New York state and those in London yesterday. There have been plenty of investigations and discoveries the past few years of organizations secretly supporting terrorism around the world.
