Ummmm..LSU more points, ASU less points. Offense, Special Teams, Defense...it's all the same team. Clyde. If you want to bitch, bitch about Tennessee. At least we lost that game. You must really have a prickly pine cone up your ass, man. Let it go.

Red 55, I agree with you on this . . . it's too early to worry about what our Won-Loss record will be at the end of this year.

No matter what happens in the regular season, I would REALLY like us to win our bowl game . . . not matter what bowl game that is . . . I want to end the season with a good win.

As for the other arguments going on in this thread, I say this:

I know that it was "only Vandy", BUT, you could tell that Pellini did indeed run a different pass coverage scheme against Vandy than he did against Tenn. Folks, that's got to be a good thing, because it proves that he knows how to make adjustments to his defensive scheme!!

My point in all this is that it was bad coaching or at least bad play calling and lack of adjustments on the DC part. Yes Sabanfan, it is all the same team so lets all have a group hug and sing. That's a good argument, "But we won". We won with a lot of luck and good play by the special teams and they put the points on the board for us. The defense play calling gave the game away and finally Pelini made the right calls late in the game to blitz the hell out of Keller. My point was why wait to make adjustments on the last drive of the game.

This poor decision making carried over into the 2nd half of the UT game and I have said my piece about the poor coaching in that game, too.

So you tell me to go bitch about the UT game but then you tell anyone complaining about obvious poor coaching and you tell us to stop bitching. Make up your mind! :D

If I understand your point about the last drive in the ASU game, Pellini made adjustments that led to us stopping them to win the game. BRILLIANT.

I'm luvin' this ****! Now, Pellini's the hero ... let's take out "hats" off to him.

I say BS! After that Tennessee game, Pellini needed his ass kicked so hard, he wore it for a hat for a month.

LSU mauled two SEC "bottom of the barrell" teams.

LSU was outcoached by the 2 ranked teams it faced (Pellini was PUNKED).

A special teams miracle (14 fourth quarter points against ASU) is the only reason LSU is ranked #10.

NO KUDOS FOR PELLINI ... Not even the sweat off my left testicle if he was dying of thirst ... until he EARNS REDEMPTION!!!

STOMP BOTH FLA & AU & BEAT BAMA (DEFENSIVELY SPEAKING) ... AND YOU'LL BE PARDONED FOR YOUR PAST SINS, PELLINI

FAIL ... AND YOU CAN PACK YOUR **** & SELL IT TO THE NEXT SUCKER!

NO MERCY OR PATIENCE FOR FOOLS ... WE'RE TALKING LSU DEFENSE HERE

This whole 'we should have lost to ASU' nonsense is so completely worn out. No one ever seems to consider that, had we actually lost that game, we very well may have beaten UT. One thing changes another.

You've been snortin' too much "ant & roach" killer.

Seems to me, I watched an ASU game where an ...

    L

    S

    U

    D

    E

    F

    E

    N

    S

    E

Gave up over 500 yards and was CLEARLY OUTCOACHED ... or just maybe I was liquored up AND IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE ALL THIS TIME! Maybe I'll just awaken from a nap ... and it'll still be late August ... and all that optimism will still be there ... & Pellini's defensive schemes in the ASU & TN games won't smell like a mildewed N.O. roasting at 88 degrees on an October afternoon.

    Yeah, it's all a dream!

Wait, our defense played crappy vs ASU?!?!? What on earth are you talking about?

And what does that have to do with a hypothetical situation in which we lose to ASU and beat TN? You're going to feel awfully silly after we stymie UF this weekend.

    There goes Bo
    He's got class
    He's the man
    Who kicked Vandy's ***

    Stolen from "Everybody's All American"

I reserve the right to change my opinion after the UF game.
