But Nick Saban does read internet mail ... has his own site ... NickSaban.net and he and assistants absolutely, positively DO lurk on several of the boards ... but they never post. I have it on good authority that his tag is "gold flashes" or something like that ... a tribute to his Alma mater Kent State University (The Gold Flashes) where he cornerbacked in the late sixties and early seventies and graduated in 1972 ... and where he witnessed the Kent State massacre in early May 1970 after the US invaded Cambodia and the anti-war long hairs went nuts. I doubt I'm the only one who looked it up, but noticed there was a "GoldenFlashes 72" on the member list. Anyone know what year Saban finished? That sounds about right.
Do you really think he does love LSU like you and I? I very seriously doubt that. If he did, he would coach at LSU till they throw him in the ground. Im not saying he doesnt love BEING at LSU, but he isnt a life long fan or alum. This is his job.
