A moment of silence would be great. I was simply asking if LSU had announced anything prior to our upcoming bowl game pertaining to Leach's death and I was just taken aback by some of the posters that basically said screw him. First, that callous, and, secondly, MSU is a part of the SEC family, so showing some of type of respect/support is the right thing to do. Although we are competitors on the field/court, when tragedy or devastation affects another person/group, all that goes out the window. I was just shocked and disappointed at some of the responses, but I guess I shouldn't be, because it's a clear reflection of the society we live in today!
It’s not that anyone here is not sympathetic, we just don’t see where it should be an LSU thing. Why kill the energy for any of our games?
LSU honored Leach in the bowl game with a helmet sticker, the name "Mike" with the letter i replaced with a rendering of an MSU cowbell. Same logo that was painted on the field for MSU's bowl game.
