I sat through eight losing seasons in the 1990s. This championship game has sat completely in and I'm enjoying every freakin' minute of it.
It set in about as soon as we won the SECCG and the ESPN boneheads started griping about the way USC was going to get shut out of the game. Lying in bed with the volume all the way down and watching Boise State whip Hawaii at 2 a.m. was the icing on the cake. We've waited all of our lives for this moment--let's enjoy every second of it! I just hope my poor LSU flag doesn't get much more tattered blowing in that vicious Texas wind the next two weeks.
285e0ef930aeabf247d84320af904c0c Somewhat with all the talk radio around the country. But I think it will REALLY hit after the New Year's Bowls(and that includes the Rose) and we are still yet to play. I'm sure that Sat. and Sun. I'll be spinning in the air.
no it hasn't really set in and for me i don't think it actually will set in for a few months... i mean we are literally on top of the world of college football unbelievable!
I'm a new LSU fan, (See my signature), yet I get goosebumps already while watching SportsCenter. Until Trev Alberts shows up....
IT WILL HIT ME AFTER MICHIGAN KICKS THE SHIT OUT OF USC AND THEN WE REALIZE WE ARE PLAYING FOR THE OUTRIGHT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
It set in with me on Sunday afternoon on December 7th when they announced on ABC at 4:30 that the Tigers were in the Sugar Bowl. I have been waiting for this for years.
