Why all this attention on little ole ULL? We need to focus our energy on arguing that USC should not get a share of the 2003 NC. Let's keep our eye on the ball.
Oh My God, just so you people know, I'm in Iraq, have been since Dec and should get to go home in Nov if we are lucky. This whole sting of stuff has made me laugh so hard. I was almost in tears reading it. My ex Mother in Law is a die hard USL alum and I think she hates LSU more than she likes USL. Oh if only I could get her to read this post. Anyway, wanted to say thanks a million for the laughs it was all so very true. Hopefully I will make it home in time for the bama game but if not, oh well there is always next season and besides, last time I was in Iraq for an LSU football season they ended up with a NC so maybe it's some sort of screwed up omen or something like that. Take care Tiger Fans, keep these post coming.
Hey, I have nothing but love for all of LSU's opponents, including ULL. If LSU's out of conference opponents, in particular, live up to preseason hype, that could be the difference in a late-season BCS breakdown. Can't do much about the fact that Tulane will be terrible, but for the rest... -ULL's called the class of the SunBelt. Perfect scenario=Upset Tx A&M (again), win Sun Belt ("LSU's weakest OOC opponent was La-Lafayette, and all they did was win their conference and upset Tx A&M at College Station.") -Arizona almost certainly will improve on last year, especially if their rivals from Tempe go into full meltdown mode (as the BS with the QBs suggests they may) -Fresno St returns many starters, will be in the mix in an increasingly impressive WAC (Boise St, even Nevada should show signs of respectability against OOC foes this year). I'd love for conference winners ULL and Fresno, with Az being bowl eligible.
