    He has bruises on his face and a split brow...maybe a slight concussion. He has been released from the hospital.

    The low-angle shot looks more like Nick. The head shot looks like Christian Slater, for sure. But I figured out why it doesn't look right. Nick isn't scowling, so it can't be a game pose. If he's smiling, then it's practice and he should be wearing the straw hat.

    Okay, I guess no one else is going to say it so I will. There are no witnesses, the clerk at the gas station didn't see a person, a car, or anything. The guy walks in with a minor cut and bruise and claims to have woken up next to his car but didn't get a look at his assailant. His biggest injury is something that is measurable only by easy to fake symptoms. See where I'm going here?

    This gets him a little sympathy. I'm not saying that's definitely what happened but it seems like an angle that should be explored.

    I can also see him getting his ass whipped almost anywhere in Alabama. I'd leave the state, too.
