    Yes she does. But having failed both the Edwards Dems and the southeastern part of the state during this tragedy, it will take a second resurrection for her to get re-elected.

    As for red's comments, that might just be why he can carry the northern neck vote.

    So there really is a "powerful political machine" in Crowley/Breaux Bridge? I thought SupaFan was being faceitious. How do two villages make such a machine?

    I guess SabanFan wields more political juice than we thought!!!

    You would not imagine the power of the rice farmers in that area. :hihi:

    Seriously, Acadia and Vermillion parish have old oil money and tons of political influence. Until recent times and term limits, some of the most senior state senators and reps were from those areas.

    She lost in the Lafayette area....I guess that's why you left out Lafayette. She lost in her home area.

    Maybe people will understand now that your vote really does matter.
