You know we have QBs who never get on the field. Philip Ely just got through tearing it up for Toledo after transferring. Alex Morris transferred to North Texas and is starting. Hard for me to believe Harris could just plug and play because we are Bama. He could sit and watch but make reads and command the huddle I'm afraid is the affliction Harris is most suffering from.
What are you suggesting, though? That he's bad during games or that he doesn't get the chance to showcase his talents because of play calling?
After the WKU game , he first thing he brought up was his team wasn't discipline enough against WKU , made too many mental mistakes and this team hasn't played at it's best yet this season which is scary .
That sounds like something Saban would say. You have been listening to him too much. You realize that dude lit his offensive coordinater up for calling a play with a minute left on the clock that caused a turnover in a blowout game? You think Les has done anything other than tickle Cam's nuts?
Not disagreeing just don't know what you are trying to say about my comment concerning Harris at Bama? I just said he would never start with his football IQ and instincts in our offense.
Harris looked like a brat on the sidelines after he got benched. At least Jordan Jefferson when benched was seen going to his teammates and encouraging them.
Ahhh, it sounded like you were saying Saban couldn't win with him not that he wouldn't play because he isn't good enough.
I don't know if he is indeed an sec qb. But little Nicky thought so. Fucking gumps when after Harris hard along with several other teams. I think this is him overthinking things and, again not developing a qb.
I believe Harris' troubles lie more in the hands of the coaches then they do in #6's head. When Miles benched AJ in favor of Harris, we saw brilliance in his play when he lead the offense to numerous scoring drives. LSU lost by 5, after AJ left us several scores behind. I think Miles hates a pass heavy, or at least a balanced pass/run offense, and has done whatever he can to handicap the QB's in favor of his stable of thoroughbred RB's.
