We had the best fried turkey today. Moistest one I have ever had. We also had smoked ducks and pulled pork. Plus a lot of fixins. We are all in Turkey comas. LOL
It was a little dry. Very tasty, but dry. First time I've cooked one in that thing. I will probably try a trick or two if I ever do another one.
I'm not the kind of guy who says "I told you so" but........

we roasted ours today at 325 and cooked it breast down under foil and then turned it breast up for the last 20 min with the roaster on to brown the breast.
Outside of the breast being indented with the roaster pan wires it turned out really good. Breast was much moister
Dude, it was already on when you "told me so". Will still make a great turkey sandwich
