Happy Thanksgiving to all the TF family and a very special shout out to the captors of @BRETT we hope you guys at least feed him something even if it's spam.

I am cooking 3 turkeys. Probably one in the roaster and fry the other two. Was thinking about putting one on the smoker but not sure. Suggestions?

Before you fry the turkeys watch the videos in Steve's thread in Good Eats.

When I first got a fryer I fried a bunch of turkeys and gave most of them away. Now, I only need one turkey and I'm not going to spend more on the oil than the price of the turkey. I'm going to cook a breast in the slow cooker. Inject with cajun injector, stuff pieces of garlic and bacon, the cook with beer and BBQ sauce til it's almost falling apart.

Anybody know if they sell something like the tubes of Kraft garlic cheese anymore. I want to make a cheese log but Kraft discontinued it a few years ago. I made one using Velveeta last year but it's not the same.

Whenever I stayed at the camp for thanksgiving in Barataria bay North of Grand Isle, I would make a short hunt for 2 or 3 ducks and catch some fish. I'd also pick up a some crabs out of the traps, coon some oysters along the batture and feast on that.

    The best thanksgivings were turkeyless.
