1. Considering the stands don't clear out during halftime, it seems i'm the normal one. Let me guess, you don't stand up, scream, cheer, etc. when the Tiger Band starts pre-game. Nah, only losers pay attention to the band.

  2. Well you keep blowing that little flute. Me, I'm going piss and get my drink before the team comes back out on the field.
  3. Well, we catch sight of the band when we're navigating down from the student section (to piss, grab a hot dog, etc.), but we're really focusing on that row of undulating white bathing suits spray-painted on the Golden Girls. I was always vaguely aware that there was a band--somewhere--in the Girls' vicinity!:thumb:
  4. No sense talking to you. You obviously don't get it.:insane:

  5. I don't take anything away from the band as they obviously bring another element to the game and stadium atmosphere. I can't play a reasonable tune on any instrument, let alone think I could go out and march AND play at the same time... But in retrospect, Tiger Stadium isn't filled to capacity every saturday because the band is good.
  6. Not saying they are--But they do lend a powerful presence and pump up the crowd.:thumb:

  7. I love the band as much as the football team...just not during halftime. :yelwink2:
  8. agreed ... except right at the end of halftime, when they get back to playing songs people know.

I remember an Auburn game in 2002, or so, where they actually showed a little "human jukebox" ... i believe that was the game where Duval was one the field too early.

  9. Southern's band played at half time tonite in the dome. What a show. They even formed the half time score, how the hell they did that I don't know.
  10. There are many different kinds of music. Don't be afraid to expand your horizons.
