Will compete in the spring and push Mettenberger, which can only be a good thing.

So what is the projected QB starting roster for LSU the next 4-5 years look like?

    Would it be...

    '12 - ZM
    '13 - ZM
    '14 - GK
    '15 - GK
    '16 - ??

If so this is like good karma for LSU fans since what we have had to work with the last 5 yrs.

Don't forget Jarret Randle. He may be better than any of the others. The Rivers kid is still there to push them. We are stacked bro.

Do you think they redshirt Kiel or give him a chance to play next season? Personally, I'd have him redshirted unless needed but I haven't kept up on how well Rivers is doing. I believe I heard he was doing good.

The rich just got richer. Much, much richer. We were already loaded with Mett and Randall next year.

Do y'all think Stephen Rivers transfers? The addition of GK pretty much guarantees that SR won't ever see the field.

    Yes, I believe he will.

Unless he has absolutely no aspirations of ever playing in the NFL.

Given his bloodline, I find that impossible to believe.

    What Kiel means for LSU

"Kiel showed that he is not afraid of a challenge by initially committing to his home-state program of Indiana. With his final commitment to LSU, he’s proving that he’s not afraid of pressure either because Kiel may be the only missing piece to another national championship game appearance for LSU in 2012."

That's come pretty high praise and hype.

    That looks about right.

If Mett kills it this year, he could go pro (ala Cam Newton).

So it could be GK for the next 2-3 years following.

Coach Krag deserves huge props. He was the key factor in getting the family comfortable with LSU.

I hope his health issues not only for him but for his wife as well can be controlled. He's a damn fine coach and a hell of a recruiter.
