Great point. I wish Urban would return to the SEC for the same reasons. Great high school programs feed great college programs and the coaches greatly influence both for a great SEC.
Of course. Nick would be a cherished part of LSU tradition today except that he returned to a school that plays LSU every year. Now he's become someone who is trying to take something away from LSU, so he is treated with the hostility that all opposing coaches get. Trust me LSU had far more issues with Tuberville than Nick. In 10 or 15 years, Nick will be coming to LSU reunions. He has a lot of close friends here. Well, his wife loved it here, too and she was the reason that Nick turned down Miami three times. I think at his age and with his money, Nick will probably retire from Bama. On the other hand, he is a workaholic and has always had happy feet. There might be the thought in his mind that he has unfinished business in the NFL . . . I think the only school that Nick might leave Bama for is Ohio State. He coached in and around Ohio for most of his coaching career, he has a history with Ohio State, he has relatives in Ohio and West Virginia, and Ohio State is a school where he can win.
