Is our defense better now than when we played Tennessee?

 

Probably so, but remember, they started their first two drives at our 27 and 26, respectively, and then we went for it on 4th down and gave them the ball on our 47 on their last possession of the game. They scored 1 TD and 2 FGs on those three drives, so the defense actually held ok then. If we don't spot them those 13 points, it could have been a much closer game, even though the offense was pretty bad.
