What's the point of all this other than to sell more guitars to the gullible?

just read up on them a little bit.

this is just a limited edition run.
so it’s at least possible that 20-30 years from now these things will have some value to them.

i’m still not dropping 2 grand on them though.

I've got one of those electrics that say "Fender" and "Stratocaster" on it but it ain't, pretty sure it's made in Indonesia or some shit like that. When I can shred on that one I will drop some coin for a real one.

Is it a Squier? I have one of those. It says Bullet Stat on it.

Acoustic strings. Light, heavy or medium? I bought a Takamine a few weeks ago and have been playing it a lot. I love the way it sounds but my fingers are raw. And I haven't even done many bends and pull-offs and stuff like I do on electric. I was going to put some light Martin Silk and Steel M1400's on it. Should I do that or perservere?

could be Fender branded instead of Squier.
they made a cheap one overseas that kept the Fender logos a while back.

Just discovering this thread. I own 4 guitars (and 2 amps) right now. I just need to learn how to play one of them, though.
